You may not know this, but we keep a little news corral out back. It's where we raise our news from little rumors and possibilities, watering them, feeding them torn-up pages of the Washington Post Express and watching their growth until they're mature enough to take to market. One of these little pieces of news has been in the corral for a good long time, and it's just now that we can finally bring it out of the pen.
An incredibly kind Irish gentleman named Emmet is organizing a tribute album for the '80's indiepop-trailblazers the June Brides, and he's not only letting us on it, but he handed over their widely-loved song "Every Conversation" to us. We were nervous about doing it justice, but we tackled it as best we could. We gave the song a Positions reworking and recorded the song at Ivan's house, handing the song over to Archie to polish it up with his special brand of knob-tweaking. We're pretty pleased with the results, and we can hopefully share it with you soon. We don't have details on release date or whether there will be an American release, but we'll give that info up as soon as we know it.
