We got news. And lots of it. Well, for us, anyway.
First up is that the Positions are now plus one. Armin Pruessner, who was there for us when it all started, has now re-joined the band on second guitar and keyboards (and bass when Tad is buried in his schoolbooks). We're pretty excited about it, not in the least because being seven strong just makes us that much harder to take in a fight. Not that you had a chance anyway...
So the band keeps getting bigger which makes the stages all smaller. Luckily, we have a show at the Black Cat on the main stage, so we should have plenty of room. The show is on January 2nd, with Meredith Bragg and the Alice Despard Group, and we're excited as hell about it, being the first time at the Black Cat and all. And the size of the stage really is exciting. It gets a little cramped sometimes with all of us. If we play the Galaxy Hut again, I think Ken's going to have to play sitting on Chris's shoulders. And Chris is already tall.
Speaking of shows, our show in Durham is on hold. Seems the Duke Coffeehouse booked us on the same night they had already booked some theater group, and for some odd reason, decided to honor their commitment to the theater group instead of giving us the show. Pfft. Decency. Who needs it?!
