First of all, I really hope that you didn't have to hear it here first, but: Happy New Year. And I can say this without consulting anyone in the band: this New Years wish (the wish that your new year be happy...refer to prior sentence) comes from every last one of the Positions, even Chris.
As for us, we couldn't be more excited about 2004. We'll have an album out this year and there'll be any number of shows in the next 365, not to mention songs to write and plenty of practices, which are always a blast. You should be jealous that you don't get to come to them.
Speaking of upcoming shows, not only are we playing tomorrow at the Black Cat, but that on-again-off-again show in Durham is on again. We're playing with Rocketfire Red and Slicing Ginger at the Duke Coffeehouse on Saturday, January 24th. I know what you're thinking, and the answer is: No...it couldn't be any more fun.
