Our feelings about you wonderful people who came out to our show at the Black Cat last Friday can best be summed up in the words of Jarvis Cocker as he addressed the Glastonbury crowd after ending Pulp's moment-defining headlining set in the summer of '95: "Thanks for making this a very special night for us. I hope it was special for you as well." Yes, there's a pretty wide divide between Glastonbury '95 and the Black Cat '04, but it was a truly high time for us, and to those of you who spent the equivalent of a pricey sandwich to come hear us, we can't appreciate you enough. We heart you.
